What streaming works in the US — 2026 availability list
Updated 2026-04-24
TL;DR
The US has the most complete streaming market globally — nearly every major service works except China-origin (iQIYI, etc.) and Korea-origin (TVING, Watcha) platforms. US catalogs are generally the largest; prices are mid-range. Gotchas: Paramount+'s SkyShowtime bundle is EU-only (US uses plain Paramount+); HBO Max (now Max) is separate from other WBD services.

Tips
If routing VPN to US: pick residential-IP nodes — US streamers block datacenter IPs most aggressively. 4K HDR needs HDCP-2.2 devices. Switching regions on a single account may trigger 2FA (esp. Netflix / Disney+); keep region stable on logged-in devices.
